German students in the Netherlands

Our trip to Vlarrdingen from 15 -19 March 2010

On Monday we ( Sophie, Veronika, Vivien, Kassandra and Mrs Uhlemann and Mrs Schaper) arrived in Holland.

On Tuesday we were in Delft and in the museum Prinsenhof. Then we went to the Old and New Church.
Eveline, Sharon, Lauraand Kassandra were on the high tower of the New church. After that we visted Madurodam.
We were in a mininaturemuseum. There were buildings from Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Delft and many more. It was a long day and we went back to our guestparents.

On Wednesday we visted the `Het Vos College` that is the school from Emmie,Sharon,Eveline and Laura.
The school is very modern with a reception, laptops and smartboards. After that we took the bus andwent to the old mill from Vlaardingen. We learned a lot how the miller made flour. Then we went to a portmuseum, there were old things from fishermen. After that we had made our programm and we had freetime. We went shopping and drove to the North Sea.

On Thursday we drove to Rotterdam. It is a big city - a little bit like New York.We went to the port from Rotterdam and drove around the port with a Spidoship. Then we went to the Euromast, it is a high tower about 100 meters.
It was very funny, but we went also to a museum about the history of Rotterdam. It was very intresting.
After we visted Rotterdam we drove to our guestfamilies.
At 7 o´clock p.m. , all the teachers and students were in a restaurant. We talked and ate a lot.

On Friday we had to say Goodbye and we went home.
