Autumn in Poland by Monika Przybysz and Asia Badurowicz, class 2g

Autumn in Poland
Golden Polish autumn is the most beautiful season in the year.
Someone can associate it with melancholy and depressing time, but not in Poland!
We think that's very romantic season... It's time when people can stop for a while..look at the beautiful views ans think of their lives.
It promotes falling in love.
In Poland people started muschrooms gathering.
Wherever you go in the countryside you will met Poles carrying bags for gathering mushrooms.
In November Poles celebrate many important days e.g. 11 th Novebrer.
In Autumn we like taking photos. See for yourself...

You have a fine collection of pictures and write well but have left me curious about the 11th November. What is special?

This morning on our island we have a different Autumn. A storm is outside. The wind rages and moans in my trees. The largest are tested most. Their roots are lifting off the rocks.

The storm is inside too. We are fair weather sailors in our little boats.
